Galaxy Dome pricing is based on full or half-day bookings for schools. Different rates apply to different kinds of visits. Just ask!
No VAT! As I am a small one-person outfit I will not reach the threshold to charge VAT. So, all prices will not have VAT added. Which is nice…
Peak times for bookings are around Science Week (early March, https://www.britishscienceweek.org/) and Astronomy week (early Feb, https://astronomyweek.org.uk/). Please book early for these periods to avoid disappointment.
There is no charge for mileage.
Galaxy Dome based is in Norfolk but covers all East Anglia. For journeys beyond a certain distance, there is a fuel surcharge of £25 or £50 depending on where you are. This will be included on the quote.

I like to help out too, so if it’s a charity or special event and you think you would love the visit but don’t think you can pay for a full visit, just ask! Happy to help out a good cause, or do something a bit different. I am all over the place (geographically, that is) so if it makes sense to stop by for a smaller show I will.
Show Lengths and Class Sizes
The shortest show would be 15 mins. Between shows there needs to be a 5 min break where I can re-setup. Longest show I would do is 2 hours. A week before each booking I will contact you to see what kind of sessions you would like and to provide a list of topics for you to cherry pick from, or you can leave it up to me!
The maximum number of people in the dome depends on how big they are! – but a class size of 30-35 is a good limit. For public events 15-20. SEN, it depends on the needs of the students, but a limit of 10 students with accompanying staff. Wheelchairs are also suitable for the dome.
